The door behind him shut and Soul stared at the piano in front of him as his father got settled and waited. He was nervous and gulped as his hands rose to press the first key for the piece he was going to play. It was just a practice His recital was coming up soon and it was his last one before he finally got out of that place to go to Shibusen and start a new life. Soul and Maka
#01 Comfort
The two teenagers felt a warm sense of comfort knowing that just a mile away there was someone who would listen and never judge (on those nights when the piano just wouldn't cooperate and the liquor wouldn't stop flowing into her father's mouth).
#02 Kiss
He kissed her softly on the top of the head, softly whispering in her ear and reminding her of their plans as she sobbed into his chest, cursing her father to hell and back.

The young girl stepped out of her room and walked over to the couch as the women whispered kind words to him as he sobbed. "Papa?" Maka asked again as she took a place in front of the group of people. The red haired man sniffed a few times before looking up and smiling as
Maka lifted her hand to lift her bangs away from her face as she sored high in the sky. She needed to get a good look around the nearly cloudless sky. She and her partner Soul were sent on an assignment to take down a Kishin that had somehow gained an ability to fly. Shinigami-Sama had specifically sent them because of Soul's Death Scythe status and their ability of flight. Kim would have gone but she and her partner Jacqueline were already sent on an assignment earlier that morning. It'd be annoying and 'uncool' but Maka and Soul were practically fighting a more darker version of themselves. Just one person - or thing - instead of two.

However, the only thing you could do (that you could figure out, anyway) was turn into your animal – a fox. The kids at school bullied you about it, calling you evil and a dirty animal. You weren't, obviously, if Lord Death had let you attend here. Your soul was purple-ish blue with fox ears etched on it. It w
